WELCOME My name is Debbie Chitty
I live in North East Victoria and am currently owned by 5 dogs, 2 cats & 2 horses! All through school I was like most other girls - HORSE MAD! All I wanted to do was work with horses. I began working as a Veterinary Nurse with the goal of specialising in horses. Boy, did I get side tracked! Through my experiences as a Vet nurse, I began to see a familiar pattern.... Person gets puppy, puppy hits 6 - 12 months of age and then gets euthanised or surrendered. And the people weren't nasty or evil, their pup just hadn't received training and the owners didn't understand NORMAL CANINE BEHAVIOUR or the time, effort, cost or training involved in having a happy, well adjusted, canine family member. I was lucky enough to meet someone who opened up a world of knowledge and created, in me, a passion for improving the canine / people bond. Her name is Jenny Judson. With Jenny's knowledge, support and enthusiasm, I went on to become a DELTA accredited C.G.C Instructor. For the last few years, I have been successfully running 'WHOLE OF LIFE' programs for PET DOG OWNERS. We train using positive, motivational, reward based methods, (which have been scientifically proven), provide owner education classes and teach owners how to train thier dogs for REAL LIFE situations! I have been blessed to have the opportunity to meet some remarkable, inspirational people / trainers and I sincerely thank all of the people who continue to build the human / canine bond and help dogs become a more excepted part of todays society.
